1. Introduction and Scope

The following are the terms and conditions of use (“Terms”) for using websites and materials (defined below) owned and operated by Sara Soueidan (“we”, “us”, or “our”), including but not limited to:

And any other websites, subdomains, or online properties we own or operate now or in the future (collectively, the “Websites”).

These Terms are are a legally binding agreement between you (“User,” “you,” or “your”) and Sara Soueidan. By accessing or using any of our Websites and Materials, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree with the Terms, do not use or access the Websites. The Materials are protected by applicable law, including copyright and trademark law.

2. Materials

“Materials” means all content we make available through the Websites, including but not limited to articles, blog posts, videos, courses, workshops, recordings, text, graphics, downloads, exercises, examples, and documentation, whether offered for free or for payment.

Some Materials are offered free of charge. Others require payment (“Paid Materials”). These Terms apply to all Materials unless stated otherwise.

3. Eligibility and Age Requirements

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction (whichever is higher), to create an account or purchase any Paid Materials.

By purchasing Paid Materials or creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

If you are under the required age, you may not create an account or purchase Paid Materials.

4. Paid Materials Only

Payment-related terms apply only to Paid Materials.

4.1 Payments

Payments for Paid Materials are processed through our merchant of record, Paddle, or other third-party payment processors. We do not store full payment details.

When you pay for the Paid Materials by credit card, you authorize and give permission to Sara Soueidan to charge your credit or debit card for the amount owed for payment of the Paid Materials. When you purchase the Paid Materials, your information (i.e. credit card and contact info) may be collected by Paddle (depending on the payment method you choose at checkout), who may have privacy policies or security practices that are different than ours. Sara Soueidan is not responsible for the merchant’s independent policies or practices.

4.2 Refund Policy

Refunds are available for Paid Materials only.

If you need a refund, contact us at support@practical-accessibility.today within 30 days of purchase and include your order number and/or billing email. We may ask for feedback, but providing a reason is optional and not required to receive a refund.

When a refund is issued:

  • You will receive a confirmation email from our merchant, Paddle.
  • Your access to the Paid Materials will be revoked.
  • Your account related to those Paid Materials will be deleted.

We do not retain account data after deletion. Please keep copies of your purchase and refund receipts.

Refunds are not available for team or group packages.

4.3 User Accounts

User accounts are required only for access to Paid Materials. Free Materials may be accessed without creating an account.

If you create an account on our Websites, you agree that:

  1. you shall provide accurate, current and complete information as may be prompted by any registration forms on the Websites (‘Account Information’)
  2. you shall not falsify your identity or impersonate any other person, or provide any personal or financial information of any other person, including as part of the creation of an Account;
  3. you shall maintain the security of your password
  4. you accept all risks of unauthorized access to the Account Information and any other information you provide to our Websites. You are responsible for all activity on your Website account.
  5. you agree to receive email communications from us that relate to your account and about the Paid Materials you purchased.

Accounts are personal, non-transferrable and cannot be shared. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for account sharing or misuse without prior notice to you. You may not give, sell, loan, share, or otherwise make available your account to any other person.

For team licenses, you may not “recycle” licenses between team members. Failure to comply may result in the suspension or termination of your account and of your access and use of the Paid Materials, without refund. In rare cases, exceptions can be made, in our sole discretion. You may also not register a single license under a shared email address to be used by multiple team members. This is not allowed, and will result in your account being suspended until you purchase additional licenses for the team.

5. License and Acceptable Use

When you access the Materials, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Materials for your personal, non-commercial use. The rights granted to you in these Terms are the grant of a license, not a transfer of title. We reserve all rights not expressly granted to you under these Terms.

You may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, distribute, or resell the Materials.
  • Share access credentials.
  • Create derivative works intended to replace or compete with our Materials.
  • Use the Materials in a way that exploits or harms our work.

Personal AI Use

You may use AI tools for personal learning purposes such as note-taking, summarizing, or understanding the Materials, as long as this does not result in reproducing, redistributing, or commercializing the Materials or creating derivative works.

6. Intellectual Property

All Materials are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Ownership remains with us unless otherwise stated. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

Any violations of this term, and all terms contained herein, will be legally pursued to the fullest extent permitted by law.

7. Accessibility

8. Privacy

By accessing or using our Websites and Materials, you understand that Sara Soueidan is an independent Web user interface engineer and educator.

Educational Materials are provided for informational purposes only. While we strive for accuracy and quality, we do not guarantee that the Materials will be error-free or uninterrupted.

Any and all current or past-client testimonials, statements, or examples used by us are simply that: examples. They are not guarantees that you will also experience or receive the same results. Each person and their circumstances are unique and nothing shall be interpreted as a guarantee that you will experience the same results as another client of ours.

We don’t make any assurances as to any particular financial-based outcome based on the use of Websites or Materials. We are not responsible for the success or failure of your business, business decisions, income, sales, or any other result of any kind that you may have as a result of your use of Websites or Materials.

We do not guarantee specific outcomes, results, or professional success. We do not offer any representations, guarantees, or warranties, of any variety, regarding the Materials in any way including, but not limited to, your future income, sales, potential, profitability, or losses derived as a result of your use of the Program. We take reasonable steps to protect any information you provide while using our websites, but you acknowledge that submitting such information is done at your own risk. We are not responsible for any loss or damages that may result from your submission.

Neither we, nor our suppliers, licensors, or any of our directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, or contractors, shall be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the websites or any Materials, or for any other claim connected to your use of the websites or Materials. This includes, without limitation, errors or omissions in content, or any loss or damage resulting from the use of content or products available on the websites, even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages.

In all cases, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the websites or Materials is limited to the amount you paid for the specific Materials from which the claim arose.

Our websites may include links to external websites or resources operated by third parties. These links are provided for your convenience only and do not imply any approval, endorsement, or responsibility for the content, products, or services offered on those sites. If you choose to visit a third-party website, you do so at your own discretion and risk. Our Terms of Use and Policies do not govern your interactions with third-party websites, and we have no control over their availability, content, or privacy practices. 10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sara Soueidan expressly disclaims liability for any direct, indirect, and/or consequential damages suffered by you related to your purchase or use of, or participation in, the Materials, our Websites, or any other information obtained by you from us. By purchasing our Paid Materials, you hereby agree to this limitation of liability and release Sara SOueidan from any and all claims.

By using or accessing our Websites or Materials, you agree to release, forgive, forever discharge, defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Sara Soueidan, our subsidiaries, employees, agents, contractors, subcontractors, shareholders, directors, officers, coaches, assignees, licensees, and affiliates from any and all claims, suits, actions, charges, demands, liabilities, damages, judgments, and/or costs, related to, or arising out of, your use or purchase of our Materials and/or your breach of any obligation, warranty, covenant, or representation set forth in these Terms of Use.

By accessing our Websites or using our Materials, you agree to release us from any and all claims, and further agree to at all times defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Sara Soueidan as stated in this section herein.

11. Severability

The provisions of these Terms of Use shall be deemed severable, and the invalidity or unenforceability of any provision shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any other provision hereof. If any Section, subsection, sentence, or clause of these Terms of Use shall be adjudged illegal, invalid, or unenforceable, such illegality, invalidity, or unenforceability shall have no effect on the Terms of Use as a whole or on any Section, subsection, sentence, or clause hereof not expressly so adjudged.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to Paid Materials or the Websites if these Terms are seriously violated. No refunds will be issued for Paid Materials in such cases.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Websites (or any part or Content thereof) at any time with or without notice to you, and we will not be liable to you or to any third party should we exercise such rights.

You may terminate your Account at any time by contacting us and requesting that your Account is deleted.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right, at our discretion, to change or modify these Terms at any time without prior individual notice. If we change or modify or amend the Terms, the amendment shall take effect at the effective date stated at the start of the page, and your use of the Websites after such effective time shall indicate your agreement with the revised Terms. For changes that materially affect your rights, we will provide prominent notice either by contacting you at the email address you have provided to us or by posting a banner on the Websites which will be visible when you next visit the Websites after the effective time of the amendment.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms of Use contain the entire agreement between you and Sara Soueidan. There are no other promises or conditions in any other agreement (oral or written) between you and the Company.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any action brought by any party arising out of or from these Terms shall be brought within Lebanon.
